The weekend is so close we can almost taste it! This weekend’s line up of events has got us seriously keen for 5pm Friday. There’s a festival dedicate to BBQ and beer, our fave 90s acts and more…! Get your diaries out, and group chats ready; here’s what’s on in Brisbane this weekend.

In case you missed it, the Brisbane Street Art Festival is in town. Pretty exciting, huh? Thursday will see one of the events we’re most excited for pop up at the Queensland Museum. It’s a large scale projection work that will feature animation artists’ designs brought to life on the gallery walls. It kicks off today, but will be on each night of the festival. And people say Brisbane has no culture…

Saturday 18th February

NAB AFL Women’s League | Brendale

Heading into Brisbane on 18 February, the NAB AFL Women’s League is exciting for more than one reason and those reasons begin with a field full of lady athletes kicking butt and end with the fact that the games are completely free to attend. Some of the games are a BYO deck chair and picnic blanket situation, while others will see you kicking back in the grandstand. Regardless, there’s no need to book your tickets in advance, but you should head here for all of the deets.

New Farm Confectionary Turns 2 | New Farm
