Guys, it’s almost spring. Which means it's time to come out from your winter hibernation and get some incidental exercise in... Ummm, whaa?
Apart from the whole 'summer bods are made in winter' bla bla bla, exercise can actually be fun—if you're dressed to the nines and have wheels for shoes, of course (bear with us).
Because we're all slaves to the disco beat, The University Of Queensland Union have you completely sorted this August the 14th, transforming their famous Holt Room into a 70s Roller Derby wonderland. You can bet your bottom-grazing hotpants there'll be 70s beats as well as a fully decked out 70s disco—think all of the flares—prepare to slip into your best go-go boots and boogie on down.
Because what better way to spend an evening than a groovin' to the Bee Gees and Donna Summer—on skates!
PS. Don't forget to BYO socks.
