It’s time to face facts, people. Autumn has officially arrived, and while you could mourn the loss of ridiculously hot days, we’d prefer you turn your attention to all the delish eats that come with the cooler (and albeit shorter) days. Enter: this foodie festival.
Milton Markets is obviously already a God damn institution in Brisbane and they’re bringing all the autumn vibes this weekend. That means you’ll be sipping on things like sweet, delicious pumpkin spiced lattes from Third Wheel Espresso plus pumpkin cruffins (now we’re listening) from Bluesteel Bakehouse while you wander through the markets, nabbing every free sample along the way.
There’ll also be live cooking masterclasses from the likes of Tony Ching (of Lifeshape clinic) so you can learn to make all the healthy things at home. If you’re still not sold, this orange extravaganza will have loads of pop-up stalls selling all manner of seasonal produce and there’ll also be live entertainment, a petting zoo and a freaking jumping castle.
