Double Shot Impro At The Bearded Lady
Don’t have any ideas for your Wednesday night plans? Why not spend the evening yelling suggestions at a bunch of improv comedians and trying not to cry at the hilarity that ensues. Brisbane-based improv extraordinaires ImproMafia are back at it again with Double Shot Impro, a brand new series that will see both beginner and advanced comedians fight it out battle royale style at The Bearded Lady every Wednesday night. The comedians will be challenged by the event directors to invent hilarious new scenes based on the suggestions of the audience and players will be eliminated according to the reaction they get. Only one player gets to walk away with the grand prize, meaning that side-splitting shenanigans are pretty much guaranteed. Hump day has never looked better. For all the details, click here.

Easter Degustation At Bacchus South Bank
Just in case you were thinking that over-indulging in bunny-themed chocolate was enough for you this Easter, Bacchus South Bank went and created the ultimate pre-Easter feast that’s about to blow your waistline goals out the window. Housed in the stylish, luxe AF surrounds of Bacchus’ restaurant space, the Easter Degustation event is the brain child of Head Chef Massimo Speroni. Built around the idea of the traditional Easter egg, it features seven mouth-watering courses using eggs from both the sea and the land, all brought directly from Australian producers. The menu line-up includes dishes like the passionfruit, camel curd and smoked chocolate egg and asparagus with potato, cured yolk soy milk, kaffir lime and quail egg. Move over chocolate, we have a new love and it’s mysteriously Bacchus-shaped. For all the details, and to buy tickets, click here.

A slew of scientists and civilians alike will be spinning yarns about the power sleep holds over our mood and memory and their own sleep time experiences. Think less snooze-worthy medical lecture and more anecdote-filled conversation with some folks who are seriously in touch with the importance of healthy sleep in their lives.
