Bottomless Korean fried chicken and chicken karaage bao for $26.90 every single week. Is this even real life? Are we dreaming? Wait, let us pinch ourselves—nope, it’s not a dream, this is really happening, and it’s all going down at Bao Bar in West End.
These bao bun experts have just launched a pop-up Korean fried chicken joint out of their eatery, Ggogo Chicken. While it’s available for takeaway and delivery on Uber Eats or Deliveroo from Tuesday to Sunday, it’s every Tuesday evening you’re going to want to block out in the calendar, because that’s when they’ll take over Bao Bar for dine-in bottomless feasting.
Every Tuesday night from 5pm–9pm, you can settle in for all the original, soy garlic, Korean sweet chilli and spicy sweet chilli Korean fried chicken you can eat. Of course, being that bao buns are their other specialty, there will also be a few of those, with chicken karaage and buffalo chicken fillings, on the bottomless menu too. And if you can fit them in, you can add on sides like prawn crackers, cheese fries, braised pork fries and kimchi fries, all for just $26.90 per person. Basically, you’re going to roll out of there.
Need something to wash it down? They’ll also be doing Young Henrys and Newtowner tinners for $5. It’s all going down every Tuesday night, and you can find the details here.
