An Epic Foodie Festival Is Happening In Brisbane Next Weekend

Clear your diaries, Brisbane foodies, because Westfield is set to transform Carindale, Garden City and North Lakes into a mini food and entertainment festival next month.

Set over two jam-packed days in August, EAT.DRINK.WESTFIELD will feature cooking workshops and food masterclasses, live music performances, (edible) art installations and a whole lot of activities for kids, meaning it’s the perfect day out for the whole fam. Yes, please!

There’ll be a Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers pop-up, mulled wine tasting and live performance by 2014 winner of The Voice Kids, Alexa Curtis at Carindale. Plus, you can’t miss the Cut & Cook BBQ hosted by Brissy DJ, Cutloose, who’ll be playing tunes while showing off his culinary skills. We’ve heard a rumour that it’s seriously impressive…

Garden City highlights include a cocktail making class hosted by The Palms Mediterranean Bar and Grill, a dumpling workshop in Centre Court (droooool) and an Italian cooking class with our mates at Corbett & Claude.

For those in North Lakes, you can’t miss the Santoshi Spice Market traditional Indian cooking demonstration, the Fruit and Deli Co pasta making workshop and the special tasting at Willows Quality Meats. Anyone else salivating already?

Where: Garden City, Carindale and North Lakes (offerings vary centre to centre)
When: Saturday 5 August – Sunday 6 August
