Brisbane's Best Manicures

Everyone who is anyone is rocking a manicured nail these days. #Fact.

From eye-catching nail art to simple nudes and pastels to sharp-ended stiletto talons, there wasn't a bare nail to be found at New York Fashion Week, which means now is the time for a magnificent manicure.

While we can appreciate giving ourselves a good DIY mani while watching The Bachelorette, let’s be honest: we’re more than happy to outsource that job even if just to guarantee that the nails on our right hand look as good as our left.

To help a sister out, we've scoped out the hotspots for Brisbane’s best manicures to get your digits looking divine.

Brooklyn Beauty Bar

Fortitude Valley

Located in the heart of the James Street, Brooklyn Beauty Bar is the place to get together for a 'Manhattan Mani Party' with a few girlfriends, which includes champagne on arrival. If the hands of your man could also use a little TLC, they’ve got him covered too with the Basic Man-cure.

Pamper and Polish

The Pamper and Polish nail bar in Morningside caters for all talon requirements from a spa manicure to acrylic tips, temporary tips and Minx specialty nails. They’re also tipped as Brisbane's best manicure by Brisbane’s burlesque scene.

One Wybelenna

One Wybelenna in chilled-out, leafy Brookfield offers 60 full minutes of hand pampering fit for royalty. The Spa Hand Therapy treatment begins with lemon and papaya hand exfoliation followed by a rich Vitamin C mask before a professional polish in pretty spring pastels. Sighhhh.

Stephanie's Spa Retreat

A visit to the Sensory Spa and Manicure Lounge at Stephanie’s Spa Retreat at the Sofitel may seem totally indulgent, but it’s so worth it. The hidden retreat features massage recliners, sky views, and the relaxing aroma of their secret signature blend.  Take a long lunch and splurge on the Exquisite Spa Manicure (70 mins) or if time is limited, order a Classic Manicure (40 mins) or a Shape & Paint (30 mins) off their a la carte menu.

Ella Bache

Ella Bache in Brisbane City's Deluxe Manicure is hands down one of the best ways to indulge, especially if you step outside the standard buff and polish of a manicure and add on optional treatments. We can’t resist dipping our hands into the paraffin wax, knowing they’ll come out soft and smooth, but the treatment masks (Cocoa Fire Mask, Mint-Star Anise Mask or a Detoxifying Sea Salt Mask) will refresh, tone and rejuvenate.

VIP Nail and Foot Spa Wintergarden

Nail art is a conversation starter and the team at VIP Nail and Foot Spa in the Wintergarden pride themselves on delivering Insta-worthy nails while meeting high levels of clinical hygiene and excellent service. The best news is no appointment is necessary (although lunchtimes can get quite busy) so you can just roll up and then roll out.

Gracie Beauty

Spring Hill

Conveniently located on Wickham Tce in Spring Hill, Gracie Beauty offers a wide range of beauty treatments including both standard and deluxe manicures, the latter of which includes a green tea soak, and exfoliating massage with sea salt, although gel and acrylic nails are their specialty.

Lush Tan Beauty

New Farm

Situated on the quiet end of James St, Lush Tan Beauty is your go-to for fashion-forward nails and luxe treatments for your digits. With a signature range of services for hands and feets—the paraffin wax is a must-do—they're also open late on weeknights, perfect for a cheeky post-work pamper.
