Brisbane’s first large-scale outdoor contemporary exhibition has just come to town and that means the city’s Botanic Gardens have been transformed into, well basically, a huge gallery.
The gardens are currently packed full of installations, and there are also workshops, talks from the artists, children events and live entertainment throughout the exhibition.
We know what you’re wondering, and FYI the exhibition is happening right bloody now, until 15 April, so you’ll want to head down today/tonight and maybe even tomorrow. Botanica is one of the main events in the Commonwealth Games Event City Festival 2018, which explains why it’s here for a good time, not a long time.
For more details and to book yourself a spot at one of the workshops, talks or tours, head here.
When: 6 – 15 April
Where: Brisbane City Botanic Gardens
Cost: Free entry
