Sometimes, I’d swear to you that someone out there is reading my mind. It’s the only way I’m able to explain these recent miracles; $3 burgers, Sephora’s arrival in Brisbane, and now this? OF COURSE we want to celebrate everything toasted and cheesy. Are you kidding me?!
So, let’s cut to the chase; Brisbane’s first dedicated toastie store, Melt Brothers (better known as foodie Mecca) are celebrating International Grilled Cheese Day—actual genius whoever came up with this—with a laneway party dedicated to the humble cheese in bread. Best of all? The toasties are free!
Taking over Gresham Lane in the CBD, Melt Brothers will be putting on a bit of a shindig, with live DJ sets and a select menu of their best and baddest cheese toasties—forzero dollars whatsoever!
These are not just any old cheese toasties, friends—heck no—a Melt Brothers cheese toastie is stuffed with cheesy goodness, and bulging with ingredients. Choose between The Mouse Trap, a decadent three cheese mash up, Holy Cheesus, stuffed with ham, cheese and relish, and the M.C Cheesy, jam-packed with actual mac n’ cheese and maple bacon. WHOA.
When: Saturday 8th April, 10am–12pm
