Brisbane Burger Fest Is Returning To The Triffid This Year

By Alex Topakas

Lovers of all things wagyu, angus and buttermilk chicken, ready your stomachs—your PT isn’t going to like this. Brisbane's one and only festival dedicated to the greasy goodness that is the burger is returning this year. Making its first appearance since 2019, the Brisbane Burger Fest is an ode to the (not so) humble burg. Stacks on.

This almightly event is being held at The Triffid, with the whole venue being dedicated to some of Brisbane’s best burger joints for one blessed day only. With very serious contenders such as Ze Pickle, Brooklyn Depot, Fritzenberger, Hashtag Burgers & Waffles, Remy's, and more, you can try one or try them all and announce a greasy favourite to anyone who'll listen.

Each burger venue will be flipping one of their menu classics along with a Burger Fest exclusive, so you'd better head along on Saturday 24 June from 11am if you don't want to be left drooling over all the epic creations from Instagram in the days following.

Local beers will also be on hand for consumption from Aussie legends Stone & Wood and Heaps Normal, with live entertainment, a beer pong arena, a food hall and even games for the kids. Need we even mention a burger eating competition? And no, we're not just talking about the seven stacked creations that you'll find us doing our best to finish on the day.

Tickets to the event are just $15 (plus booking fee), and you can grab them here. Prepare to arrive hungry, but to definitely not leave that way.
