This year's James Street Food and Wine Trail is going to be a doozie. It's a week-long foodie-fest, and, as you know, we're pretty greedy, so we can't wait! This year we are particularly excited, because we've teamed up with the gang at James Street and are putting on a very special Urban Picnic space for Saturday's Trail goers.
In the spot outside Little Kisses, you'll find your very own urban chill-out zone, should you tire of all that walking and munching. Relax in the shade and let the gang at James Street's own fresh and friendly day spa, endota, spoil you silly with a hand massage from one of their roving masseurs.
Relax on the lawn with a drink, whether you nab yourself a glass of Jansz bubbly, or sample a brew from the beer-tasting tent, and enjoy the smooth tunes of our three-piece jazz band.
There'll also be plenty of floral loveliness, contributed by our friends at Hacienda - keep an eye out for kale inspired installations!
Some of James Street's biggest names are setting up shop at the Urban Picnic. There'll be a Middle-Eastern-themed tent serving up goat and bejewelled rice from Gerard's Bistro's, Ben Williamson, as well as Middle Eastern sweet treats like fig tart with cinnamon frangipane and orange blossom, and semolina and honey syrup cake with Persian fairy floss from Jocelyn's Provisions.
Bucci will also be popping up with a warming soup stall (we hear rumours of shaved truffles), and Harveys will be making mouth-watering quesadillas.
