Architecture geeks, get excited. Brisbane Open House weekend is coming back to Brisbane for its 7th year of society-endorsed sticky beaking.
If you’re new to the Open House phenomenon, this weekend is a celebration of the unique architectural heritage of greater Brisbane, coinciding with World Architecture Day. Some of Brisbane’s coolest old and new real estate will be throwing open its doors for one glorious weekend of snooping.
This year architecture fans and general busy bodies alike have the rare chance to tour 100 places and spaces around greater Brisbane, including 30 buildings participating for the very first time.
Punters can go behind the scenes at some of Brisbane’s most intriguing addresses, including 480 Queen Street, The Capital, Queensland Art Gallery, Whitty Building, Fort Lytton Historic Military Precinct, Roundhouse Theatre, and the Mayne Medical School Building.
You can round out your Brisbane Open House experience with guided and self-guided tours.
