Just as a blatant disclaimer; We. Love. Pugs. They are hilarious, four-legged creatures that we love to cuddle and stare at down the park / at cafes / on our Instagram feeds etc etc. Right, now that’s out of the way we can tell you that there’s a cafe in Mount Gravatt that’s celebrating all things pug—and they're throwing a pug party. A FREAKING PUG PARTY!
Freshly opened Brisbane cafe, Little Black Pug Cafe is all about that pug life. In addition to opening a spot with a focus on reducing waste and ensuring recycling wherever possible, owners Louise and Josh have two little pugs all their own (they named their cafe after the breed so you know they're mad keen) and to celebrate the grand opening of their new digs they're putting on a proper pupper party.
Among other great things (read: your morning coffee and some great brekky items to shove in your face) Little Black Pug Cafe will be full to the brim with pugs (more than normal, anyway) ready for cuddles, kisses, pats and selfies.
The best bit? Little Black Pug Cafe is teaming up with Pugs SOS and Queensland Pug Society to raise money for much needed pug surgery. Just a gold coin donation and you will have access to bulk pugs, excitedly giving you kisses and we know that’s your dream (because it’s ours too, TBH).
Where: Little Black Pug Cafe, Mt Gravatt
When: 7am-2pm, Saturday 5 May
