Sunday Sessions at Lock’n'Load

You know how we feel about a Sunday session… Really, there's nothing better. Why wallow in misery over the hastily-approaching working week, when you could be celebrating with a few cold ones, or a cocktail or two? Not to mention some of the ridiculously delicious Sunday arvo fare that comes with. Seriously, who doesn't love a bowl of crispy chips with aioli, salt and pepper calamari, or a big, fat beef burger?

Well, hurrah, all you Sunday sad sacks, because our friends at Lock'n'Load are grabbing the bull by the horns, pulling you out of your anti-social siesta and embracing the day in all its gloriousness. Enter, Sub-Tropical Sundays.

Come Sundays, Lock'n'Load transform their spacious, evergreen courtyard into one huge tropical party. With Funk DJs to spin their tunes and plenty of live music, cocktails will be the order of the day.

Boasting Brisbane's best mojitos, that will only set you back 10 clams, I can tell you what I'll be having. And don't worry, beer and cider lovers, there will be some red-hot deals on offer for you too! How does a $20 Tiger beer tower, or a $25 Monteith's cider tower sound?

But wait, it gets better… On top of all of this, there's a whopping prize to be won! A little bit quirky, and very suave, you'll never guess what… A pimped up retro ride! That's right, Lock'n'Load are giving one lucky person a restored Peugeot 203 from 1951—mint condition!

How do you get your hands on this beauty, you ask? It's all too easy. Sunday session socialites will unwittingly donate $2 from each mojito or beer or cider tower to go into the drawer. So, get in the spirit and make tracks to Lock'n'Load this Sunday.
