When it comes to great parmies, we’re pretty spoilt for choice. Brisbane pubs, hotels and restaurants dedicate hours perfecting the parmy craft, so they can serve us up with crunchy, cheesy, golden chicken goodness. To help you get your parmy fix we’ve found some of Brisbane’s best.

Brisbane Brewing Co.

West End

Often hailed as the best parmy in Brisbane, this West End spot offer up an impressive, free range chicken breast schnitzel crumbed and cooked to juicy perfection. The Brisbane Brewing Co. parmy is topped with heinz smoked leg ham, homestyle napoli and cheese. Add a side of maple bacon popcorn and a charred corn cob and you’re in heaven.

The Calamvale Hotel

There’s a rumour going around town that The Calamvale Hotel dishes up a mighty fine parmy! Crumbed, cooked to golden perfection then topped off with leg ham, tomato salsa and cheese grilled golden, served with beer battered chips. Parmilicious!

The Paddo Tavern

The Paddo has an entire section of its menu dedicated to parmy’s, including a vegetarian option! For a beastly challenge, try their carnivore parmy, topped with bacon, chorizo, prosciutto, BBQ sauce and onion rings, finished off with mozzarella cheese and a side of chips and salad.

The Flying Cock

Fortitude Valley

The guys at The Flying Cock know how to do things right. Their generous parmy comes with house napoli, smoked ham and three different type of cheese oozing off the top. Get down there on a Wednesday to get in on their two for $19.99 offer.

Melbourne Hotel

West End

Wednesday night is parmy night at the Melbourne Hotel in West End. They start with a house crumbed schnitzel, cook it to golden perfection then top it off with napoli, crispy bacon and grilled mozzarella. It’s equal parts juicy, crispy and cheesy golden goodness.

Breakfast Creek Hotel

Breakfast Creek

While it may be a little unusual to go to the Breaky Creek and not order a steak, their parmy is worth the sacrifice. They offer up a hearty vegetarian parmy as well as the traditional chicken parmy, topped with napoli, ham and a three these blend.
