We have hit that point in the year: Christmas leave is so tantalisingly close that we can almost taste it in the humid, sunscreen-scented air. We're daydreaming at our desks about all the amazing things we could do with our time off, most involving either sun and sand or an overwhelming amount of air conditioning and Netflix. For those whose holidays might be further out of reach, this list of events will provide a much-needed distraction from both the daily grind and the constant beckoning of Christmas and New Year’s. Take some time for yourself this weekend and attend any/all of these events – you deserve it!
