State of Origin 2 | Dutch Courage Officer’s Mess

To celebrate our nation’s dedication to running into each other, Dutch Courage have created a burger especially for maroon fanatics to go with the screening of the State of Origin 2. In homage to the legend Wally Lewis, and aptly dubbed the King Wal Burger, this special addition to the menu comes with grilled chicken, onion rings, gooey Swiss cheese, jalapeno mayo, avocado, and cherry tomato chutney. The King Wal goes for $18 a pop, but if you get there before the first try (aka touchdown, goal or scoring points) of the night, Dutch Courage will throw in a cheeky Stone ‘n Wood, just because they can. It kicks off from 4pm

Ramen Nights | Gerard’s Bar

This Wednesday evening, sneak down to the smoked and cured Gerard’s Bar for a new weekly precedent. Bowling up from 3pm until late, Gerard’s Tonkotsu-style ramen is made in-house from free-range, macadamia-fed charcuterie pigs, and with a glass of warm sake it’s just the stuff to see you through winter.
