Fleet 4101 | West End
This is not your typical Friday night out. Pull on your party pants, have a drink, eat, and dance yo’ ass off. Fleet 4101 is like a pub-crawl for the arts, orienteering for the inquisitive, and a fairytale for the romantics. With a map and live mobile updates as your guide, you’ll be taken on a curious journey of people, places and local businesses through West End’s streets, with five intriguing stops. Customer Christmas Party & VIP Shopping Night | Avid Reader
Love a good book? Join in the fun at Avid Reader’s Customer Christmas Party, and celebrate the launch of their Summer Reading Guide. Guests will be treated to a night of food, drinks, books, and plenty of fun! The event is free, however an RSVP is essential.

World Food Markets | Brisbane Powerhouse
Over six nights, the inaugural world food markets will pop up at Brisbane Powerhouse for a gathering of 20 food trucks and stalls, global flavours and music. With a stellar lineup of food trucks including Fiery Deli, Sushi Neko, Chocolate Komberry Co, Vira Late, the Bun Mobile, and Juan More Taco—this is one foodie event you won’t want to miss!
Sunset Affair 2014 | Soleil Pool Bar
The season of sundresses, afternoon cocktails, open windows, and outdoor encounters has finally arrived! With acrobatics, champagne stilt pourers, waiter service, exotic birds handlers, pop-up bars and food stands, as well as an uber-cute photo booth, this is set to be the event of the season. So if you haven’t scored yourself a ticket, we would recommend doing so, pronto. The party kicks off from 12:30pm.
‘We Love Short Shorts’ Short Film & Video Art | Haven Espresso
Brisbane Northsider’s, we’ve got a real treat for you! Haven Espresso are playing host to a short film and video art exhibition: We Love Short Shorts. Shorts kick off at 7pm, with Haven espresso café open from 5pm. Bring something comfy to sit on, and settle in for a night of good food, good films, and lots of fun.
Conscious Consumption | Wandering Cooks
Conscious consumption is a one-off event celebrating local produce and promoting awareness of sustainable food consumption. It will bring together 10 local producers, each getting creative with a different cut of the cow for their signature dish, QAGOMA Executive Chef Joshua Lopez manning the BBQ, a panel of passionate guest speakers, and the star of the show, two Braham-style Angus cows donated by Stone & Wood. Plates are $5 and up, with a degustation available. All proceeds from the event will be donated to OzHarvest and Slow Food Brisbane.
Capri Sunday’s Summer Swim Club Party | Soleil Pool Bar
After a mini-break due to G20 celebrations, Capri Sunday’s is back in full swing. This Sunday’s Summer Swim Club Party will feature free ice cream, lifeguards, and free canapés from 2pm. So round up your classiest friends, and enjoy a punch bowel at Soleil this Sunday.
Weekend of Tartness Beerkary Bakery Pop-Up | The Scratch

Hard To Find Supper Club | Pablo
After a very successful HTFSC in October, Masterchef 2014 finalist Ben McDonald is back! Treating guests to a superb five-course spring menu, accompanied by matching wines. Dandelion & Driftwood Host Hidenori Izaki | Dandelion & Driftwood
If you’re a Northside local who loves their coffee, this is the event for you! World Champion Barista Hidenori Izaki is visiting Brisbane for the very first time, and will be jumping behind the machine at Dandelion & Driftwood. His workshop is already booked, but make sure you drop by a grab a coffee (or three), made fresh by the man himself.
