Eats & Beats | Logan Hyperdome
You went bananas for this Brisbane event last time, and it’s back again! Kicking off from 5pm, Eats & Beats is a pop up food truck event perched handily between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With a motorcade of fab’ food trucks in attendance (including Pizzantinca, The Doughnut Bar, and King of the Wings, to name just a few), this is one foodie event not to miss. Fashion Revolution Pop-Up Event | Lightspace
Brisbane fashionistas, listen up! We’ve got the ultimate two-day event that is bound to keep you occupied this weekend. 12 Brisbane-based fashion brands have joined forces in partnership with Fashion Revolution Day, to host a first-of-its-kind retail event in Australia. With labels such as The Goodnight Society, Ruby Olive, and Alice Nightingale (just to name a few), this two-day pop up could potentially be your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shop and mingle with the best in Brisbane ethical fashion. All the fun kicks off at 3:30pm, so be there!
Two-Up At The Fox | The Fox Hotel
Join the crew at The Fox Hotel this Anzac Day to say thanks to our diggers, and have some fun while you’re at it. The day kicks off at 10am with the West End Legacy Lunch, followed by a full day of live music, test matches on the big screen, top DJs, and more. So come along, down a few beers, or try your luck at Two-Up.
Downey Park Food Truck Festival | Downey Park
Brisbane, its food truck time! Back for their monthly Sunday arvo rendezvous are the Downey Park food trucks, and we’re uber excited (can you blame us?). From 3pm-6pm, 10 of Brisbane’s best food trucks will be parked up and ready to cure your street-food cravings, including the brand new Chocolate Komberry Co. doughie van, The Doughnut Bar, as well as Chip Tease, The Bone Lorry, and more.
Michael Parekowhai: The Promised Land | Gallery Of Modern Art
GOMA is proud to be hosting what is set to be another standout exhibition, this time showcasing one of New Zealand’s leading contemporary artists, Michael Parekowhai. Michael Parekowhai:The Promised Land will see GOMA transformed into an awe-inspiring and immersive environment, not to be missed. Balvenie and Glenfiddich Whisky Tasting | Cobbler
Join Cobbler owner, Martin Lange for an evening of delicious whiskies from The Balvenie and Glenfiddich distilleries. From 7pm guests will enjoy six whiskies, paired with superb food from the talented crew at The Milk Factory. Tickets are $100 per person, and we recommend you grab yours, pronto.

If we’re talking local concerts, The Triffid has pretty much got the whole chilled-out-lets-go-see-a-gig kind of vibe mastered. April 30th sees the arrival of Augie March; regularly heralded as one of Australia’s greatest outfits, although one that has forever eluded categorisation. So if going to an uncategorised (and truly awesome) gig is your kind of a Thursday night, then don’t be hasty and grab yourself a ticket.

Nothing says Sunday more than a trip to the markets (ammiright?). So when we heard that Bakery Lane was kicking off their monthly market, we knew we were onto a winner. The market is your one-stop-inner-city-shop for all things market-like, showcasing unique small-batch produce from local artisans like Bee One Third Honey, Reverends Fine Coffee pop-up, Crust & Co Artisanal Bread, Mapleton Falls Farms produce, and more! So come along and check out this brand new Brisbane market from 9am-1pm.

The Glenlivet Whiskey Appreciation Night | The Gresham
When it comes to whisky, you can’t go past a whisky appreciation night at The Gresham. Hosted by none other than Ben Davidson, one of Australia’s most accomplished and well-known bartenders, guests are in for an absolute smorgasbord-of-a-showcase, with the event featuring The Glenlivet 12, 18, 21 & 25 Year Old Expressions.
