From Italian lunches, local markets, and one-off burger launches (seriously, you need see this burger) to New York soiree’s, Mexican celebratory feasts, and decadent Mother’s Day lunches (only a week to go!), we’re pretty certain you won’t be spending this weekend on the couch. Here’s what’s on this weekend in Brisbane.

Thursday 30th

All month long, Aria Restaurant has showcased Italian cuisine at its finest, with their Italian Renaissance lunch offer. Today is the last day to enjoy a great value lunch, with a two-course option (including wine) for $59 per person, or three courses for $75. Today’s lunch = sorted!

The lunch tasting menu is available Wednesday through Sunday, but bookings are essential.

Saturday 2nd

Bakery Lane Providore Market Launch | Bakery Lane

When it comes to local markets, Brisbane nails it. And with Bakery Lane launching their brand new monthly market this Saturday, we know where we’ll be this weekend! The market is your one-stop-inner-city-shop for all things market-like, showcasing unique small-batch produce from local artisans like Bee One Third Honey, and Reverends Fine Coffee pop-up, just to name a few. So come along from 9am-1pm!

Bakery Lane After Party | Bakery Lane

Once you're all marketed out and in need of refreshment, stick around for the official Bakery Lane after party, hosted by Laruche. This rad laneway event party kicks off at 3pm, with Laruche and brand new little sister venue Kiosk taking over Bakery Lane. Featuring a DJ set from Mitzi, Sydney band, Olympic Ayres playing live, and Kiosk providing a sneak preview of their new menu (and a few tasty beverages thrown in for good measure), this party is sure to be a doozy. And for the seasoned party animals among us (who, me?), feel free to hang around and dance the night away―the party kicks on until 12pm!

New York Soiree | Willow & Spoon

Willow & Spoon’s monthly themed night is back again, and this time it’s a New York Soiree. So channel your inner Blair Waldorf and get set for a good old-fashioned three-course meal in Willow & Spoon’s newly renovated garden area. Bookings are essential, so secure your table pronto!

Ok, Brisbanites, picture this. A Doughnut Time “OG” glazed doughnut, with fried banana, bacon, peanut butter, maple syrup, and Chur Burger’s signature crispy pork belly. Erm, yes please!.
