It’s the mooooooost wonderful time of the year! Yes, I know it’s not Christmas, but it’s still the season to be jolly because the miracle that is TWO weekends in a week thanks to the glorious Ekka public holiday rolling around once again. So now you only have that teeny-weeny two-day work week to get through, and there are activities a-plenty happening on weekend number two for you to look forward to.

Looking for things to do in Brisbane? Well giddy up! This is what’s on in Brisbane this weekend.

Friday 14 August

#GETJELLIFIED | Pineapple Express Café

Here’s a scenario I bet you never pictured: hunky soccer players getting dunked in jelly (but you’re picturing it now, aren’t you?). And on Friday this very recent dream of yours will become a reality when Brisbane Roar players Corey Brown, Luke Brattan and Jack Hingert take the plunge and #getjellified, all in the name of charity. Funds raised will go towards ICANIWILL, a children’s charity that aims to bridge the social gap for children with special needs in schools. Get down to Pineapple Express Café and watch the boys get sticky, donate to a great cause, then treat yo’ self to a Cocowhip after. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
