This weekend in Brisbane we've got you covered, from the Eat Street Markets' new outdoor cinema, to pics with Santa and your pet, to the Royal Croquet Garden Party of the season, there are plenty of things to do in Brisbane this weekend!

Thursday 5 November

No Cameras Allowed Film Premiere

Filmmaker and renowned music photographer, Marcus Haney is heading to Australia this Thursday for the premiere of his film, No Cameras Allowed. Marcus has gone from gatecrashing music festivals around the world to becoming the go-to snapper for artists such as Beyonce, Jay Z and Mumford & Sons.

Friday 6 November

Royal Croquet Garden Party

One of Australia’s coolest and slickest garden parties is finally here! Taking over South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt on 6th of November for 17 whole fun-filled days, Royal Croquet Club Brisbane is going to entertain the pants off Brisbane with a killer line up of food, music, performing arts and, obvs, croquet... There will also be amazing nosh from some of Brisbane’s best restaurants and cafes, kick-ass music, plus amazing visual displays!

Eat Street Markets Drive-In Cinema

For all of November, the best of two worlds have just collided because the Eat Street Markets have added a pop-up Drive In and Outdoor Cinema to their repertoire! Bring in all the World Famous Funnel Cakes, Golden Gaytime doughnuts or Okinomi House Japanese pizzas as you like while you settle in to watch the latest movies.

Finders Keepers Markets

Marketeers! Grab your hessian sacks and joie de vivre, because our fave Brisbane design markets, Finders Keepers, are back this weekend to brighten up your weekend! This Saturday and Sunday get down to the Old Museum in Bowen Hills, and cruise the wares of more than 100 stalls featuring local and emerging talents from homewares to jewellery, and fashion to food.

Santa Photos With Your Pet at QueensPlaza

David Jones QueensPlaza is offering singles and families the chance to bring in their furry, feathered and finned friends for a pic with Santa, because everyone’s pet is part of the family right?

Smoking Martha Plays at Boggo Road Gaol

The band has had a strong year, landing two international supports, with 'Uriah Heap' and 'Seether', playing over 40 shows including a national tour with Wallapalooza Festival. Rocking out Boggo Road Gaol this Saturday night, Smoking Martha is going to finish the year with a serious bang, along with other rock bands Demonfire, Planet Fiction, Speedracer plus more! Havaianas Airstream

Nana and Da’s Sunday Sessions

Nana & Da’s in Kedron have extended their trading hours on Sunday to 5pm so that folks can kick back and have something to nibble on with a beer or wine or Aperol spritz while listening to some great live music. With Jess Lean crooning away and Dwight Stewart on guitar, there’s even been a bit of dancing going on.
