Nothing says ‘Happy February!’ like a party… or 4! Here are the best things to do in Brisbane this weekend.
Food trucks are becoming more and more popular, and we’re loving it! Not only do you get a selection of gourmet deliciousness to choose from, you also aren’t restricted to eat one cuisine and a single restaurant when you want Pulled Pork Nachos but your bestie wants a Bourbon BBQ Hot Dog and her boyfriend wants a Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger. Why choose one when you can have all of them in the same vicinity! So of course we’re all about Food Truck parties this weekend, and there’ plenty of them with Wandering Cooks’ Thank Truck it’s Thursday event and the Truck-it Street Party, so go forth and eat your weight in hot dogs and burgers, because why not!
Then the party continues with the Brisbane Street Art Festival starting up this weekend, and of course Laneway on Saturday. We may only just be recovering from our Australia Day celebrations now, but we have to make the most of the warmer months while we still can!
