Moonlight Cinemas | New Farm Park

This weekend is your last chance to check out the latest movies at the Moonlight Cinema. Kick back under the stars in New Farm Park and see why Leo finally got his Oscar for his role in The Revenant or reminisce with childhood favourite, The Lion King.

Bleach* Festival

Tattersall’s Teal Brick Road Cocktail Party

Get glamorous for a good cause with the Tattersall’s Teal Brick Road Cocktail Party this Friday night. With live music, a silent auction, gourmet canapés and stunning Rothbury Estate wines flowing, it will be a fantastic night supporting ovarian cancer research at the Mater.

While it's not in Brisbane, one of Australia's most epic food events is kicking off this week. The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has a program that includes a cider and cheese festival and long lunches so divine we want to book a flight south stat.

Saturday 5th March

Noosa Festival of Surfing

The 25th annual Noosa Festival of Surfing will be kicking off this Saturday for “8 days of pure stoke.” With over 30 categories including shortboard, longboard, stand-up baddle boards and dog surfing as well as a bar, food vans and live music, there is something for everyone and plenty of entertainment for spectators. While summer might be officially over, the sun will continue to shine for this epic week-long event.

5 Flavours | Riverlife

In 2016, Five Flavours will see our favourite Brisbane craft breweries go head to head for the chance to be crowned the 2016 brewing champions. This Saturday is round 1 of the competition featuring Green Beacon v. Fortitude Brewing Company. With cider, wine, spirits and complimenting street food available, Fiver Flavours is the perfect opportunity to sit back enjoy the city views and chill out to the sounds of live local artists.

Nostalgia Night | Eat Street Drive In

Stock up on your favourite street food at Eat Street Markets and head down to the Drive In Movies for Nostalgia Night this Saturday night. Blues Brothers will be playing with the famous “Bluesmobile” being displayed from 5pm.

Endless Summer Ball | Hillstone

It’s time for the first ball of the season, so frock up this Saturday and party the night away at Brisbane’s Endless Summer Ball. The evening kicks off at the Hillstone, St Lucia with Capitol Groove, an 8-piece band providing all the tunes to rip up the dance floor. After a night of canapés, cocktails, boutique beers and sparkling wine, you’ll be whisked away to the official after party; this isn’t Cinderella, there’s no need to be home before 12!

International Women’s Day Fun Run | Southbank

Southbank will turn pink this Sunday morning with the 25th Anniversary International Women’s Day Fun Run. Join more than 15 000 people as they take on the 5km course around the beautiful Brisbane River and Botanical Gardens to celebrate women and raise funds for breast cancer research.

Clean Up Australia Day
