Marie Claire Up Late 2017

James St x Marie Claire Up Late is returning for it’s sixth instalment, and this means live entertainment, exclusive offers, special designer appearances, curated shopping experiences, and lots and lots of fashion. Retailers Aje, Camargue, Dinosaur Designs and Assembly Label are just a few of the stores participating. There will also be 1000 gift bags being given away, top-secret pop-ups, themed cocktails, and after parties if you want to turn up on a Thursday. Prep your outfit and put your best foot forward!

Jazz Bingo Thursday

Thursday nights need to be spiced up, and The Zoo have the answer thanks to the introduction of Jazz Bingo Thursday; a weekly event of food, bevs, live jazz, and bingo! Each week will feature live acts from The Jazz Music Institute, as well as indoor lawn bowls, plenty of drinks, food from heaps of local restaurants, and a good ol’ game of bingo. Gone Girl Screening At GOMA

Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone In Concert

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra has prepared a special treat for all the Harry Potter fans of Brisbane: a screening of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone with a live orchestra performing the score! This is the first time John Williams’ iconic score will be played live alongside the film in Australia, so make sure you don’t miss out.

I don’t think it’s possible to be bored on the sweet shores of the Gold Coast, but when Bleach* Festival comes to town there’s even more fun to be had, thanks to the huge cultural festival that returns each year. The events span everything from theatre, music, art, sport and more. One standout event of the festival will be Blanc de Blanc, a tantalising combination of cabaret, circus, and champagne. Add to the bill skateboarding displays, Indigenous art, live music, and themed parties and you’ve got a pretty jam-packed event with something for everyone.
