We're seeing the return of some of our beloved Australian musicians this week, with both Missy Higgins and The Jezabels performing live in Brisbane. On the international front, take advantage of the World Press Photo exhibition at the Brisbane Powerhouse... It's one not to be missed.

Beast and Beaujolais | Pearl Café

The Jezabels | Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
Chill out to Indie Rock group, The Jezabels, as they return home for the end of their sold-out international tour. With opening acts LIGHTS and Snakadaktal, it's a school night worth going out for.

Graz Launch and Showcase | Optiko

Leading local and international eyewear designer, Graz, is showcasing his latest designs at Optiko this Saturday evening. Having collaborated with Ellery, Chronicles of Never, Paul Smith and Ksubi, he is known as a pioneer in his field. Drop in and enjoy a whisky, sway to Das Moth and pick yourself up a new pair of cool shades.

World Press Photo 2012 | Brisbane Powerhouse

Get out and about this Sunday and have a squiz at the 55th annual World Press Photo Contest. Universally recognised as the world's leading international competition for photojournalists, 5,247 photographers from 124 countries are participating this year. It's a truly intriguing exhibition.
