Get out those diaries, because we have this week's festivities all sorted for you. We have duck and a fine drop, Buchanan at The Bear, some low brow art in the city, foie gras, fertility talks, and a winter feast, and much, much more.

Monday: 

Cloudy Bay Pinot and Duck Trail | Sails Noosa, Anise, Wasabi, Social Eating House, and more.

Celebrating one of those made-in-heaven flavour combos, duck and a fine drop of wine, The Cloudy Bay Pinot Duck Trail is teaming exquisite Cloudy Bay wines with delectable duck dishes. Participating restaurants in Queensland include Sails Noosa, Anise, Wasabi, and Social Eating House. Running for the whole of July.

Wednesday:

Buchanan | Black Bear Lodge

Melbourne band, Buchanan are rolling through town to promote their debut album, Human Spring. They'll be at The Bear from 7pm. Check out their title track here.

Thursday:

Wine Experience Evening | Loft 

Calling all wine rookies. Want to brush up on your wine appreciation, learn which wine goes with what, and generally sound like you know what you're talking about when it comes to vino? Master of Wine, Andrew Corrigan, is presenting a special evening of wine tasting, canapés, and a newbies guide to social drinking, from 6pm. Tickets are on sale here.  

Friday:

Lowbrow Exhibition | Bleeding Heart Gallery

Because sometimes it's more fun to take the low road, the 2nd annual Lowbrow exhibition is on again at Bleeding Heart Gallery, celebrating illustration, comics, tattooing, and all things kitsch. Open from Wednesday the 10th of July, with a special opening night soiree on Friday the 12th from 6pm, this exhibition is. 

Lutece Bastille Day Celebrations | Lutece Bistro & Wine Bar

Brand-spanking-new French restaurant, Lutece are cordially inviting you to join them for a weekend of French-inspired frivolity, in celebration of Bastille day. With traditional French fare like escargot, quail with foie gras and sautéed apples, and slow cooked duck on the menu, this weekend looks set to be Francophile foodie heaven. The restaurant opens on July 12th, and the special Bastille Day menu continues until the 14th, available for both lunch and dinner. 

Saturday:

Winter Dinner | Bungalow 4171

It's time to celebrate the season, and all the divine food that comes with it, at a one-off winter dinner at Bungalow 4171. This delicious night of private dining will feature classic winter-inspired fare like pumpkin and green pea risotto, stuffed pork loin with applesauce, and warm chocolate fudge pudding. Places are limited, so book a seat now!

Broncos 25 Year Gala Ball | Brisbane Convention Centre

Celebrate 25 years of maroon fever at the Bronco's 25-year gala ball. All you fave Bronco's from past and present will be in attendance, and funds raised from an auction on the night will go to support the broncos chosen charities, and Junior Rugby League Queensland. Tickets to the evening, which include a three course-dinner and drinks, are on sale here.

Spilt Ink Exhibition | The Rabbit Hole Ideation Cafe

In her first solo exhibition, Brisbane artist Annabelle Kirkpatrick, will be unveiling her stunning watercolours at The Rabbit Hole, in Fortitude Valley, from 4pm.  This not-to-be missed evening will feature music by Brisbane singer, Hailey Calvert

Utopia Women's Wellness | All Hallows' School, Fortitude Valley

Ladies, who's in need of some fit-spiration? Get yourself to the Utopia Women's Wellness day to hear talks from such female wellness gurus as Lorna Jane, Therese Kerr, and Jessica Ainscough, as they discuss all the big female health issues, such as fertility, detoxification, and raw foods. There will also be prize draws and a wellness market.
