In its third year now, The Fleet Store is a QUT x Creative Enterprise Australia collaboration. Dual-degree fashion design and business students will bring a fresh concept to the store this year, with plans to operate out of a portable container. The store is set to stock Brisbane's latest designer fashions, as well as many QUT fashion students who plan on launching their own labels through the store. Open until the end of August!

If you don't mind spending a couple of lobsters ($20 notes, people!) at lunch, ARIA has an interesting and delicious-sounding two-course lunch menu on offer that's 'inspired by native and wild produce'. Think braised wild boar ragout or a fillet of line-caught Mooloolaba Spanish mackerel. Yum.

Felton Road Winery is one of New Zealand's premier wineries, so it's only fitting that they team up with Stokehouse for their Winter Wine Dinner. The event kicks off at 6:30pm, and features an extravagant four-course dinner designed to compliment an assortment of Felton Road wines. The Puma Glow Run is back in Brisbane tonight. It's a 5km course through the Botanic Gardens, culminating with a massive party at the finish line with resident DJs and a dance floor to cut a rug. Why can't every run be like this?!

George Calombaris | Unearthing the d'Or of Culinary Excellence
George Calombaris, of Masterchef fame, is up in Brisbane to announce the Australian 2015 representative for the Bocuse d'Or, which is kind of the culinary equivalent of the Olympic Games. So, no biggie. Even being selected to compete is an accomplishment in itself. Sofitel Brisbane Central will play host to the event, with five internationally acclaimed chefs plating up a five-course feed.
