Truffle & Wine Dinner | Bistro One Eleven

The Rustic Table | Alegria Mediterranean Bistro

Winemaker Tim Lyne of Spring Vale will be attending a degustation at Alegria Mediterranean Bistro and Bar at Milton, and matching his delicious wines to six of the seven courses. The dishes look amazing, too!

Chalk on the Dancefloor | Black Bear Lodge

'With This Guitar' is the third monthly showcase of local songwriters and artists. Consume craft beers by candlelight. These nights were put together to give established songwriters an opportunity to try out some new material, and also set up some chalkboard spots around the bar for walk in artists to come in and test their skills with chalk.

Champagne Master Class | Esquire

Champagne enthusiasts will be converging at esquire for the 2013 Master Class Series. There will be a selection of vintage, non-vintage, and other unique styles of Champagne on offer to taste. This is a ticketed event, you can't just rock up claiming enthusiast' status. Sorry.

Lunch For Less | Popolo

Ah, the Friday lunch, a ritual among office workers, and, well, everyone really! Popolo at River Quay launched a cracking offer that will have your co-workers crazed. The crew at Toro are bringing the dinner-and-a-show concept back, presenting a three-course feast and live music by The Amazing and Talented. No, I didn't end that sentence prematurely—that's the name of the band. It will only set you back $60, and, let's face it, we've all spent more than that on a Saturday night before.

Le Dîner en Blanc | aka 'The White Dinner'

Brisbane foodies and lovers of white, unite. Le Dîner en Blanc is back and is set to be bigger than ever. The crux of the event is that it's a pop-up picnic with an all-white theme. You buy a ticket online, go about purchasing an all-white outfit, and then put together a picnic basket fit for a king. And then on the day of the event you are told where it's being held. So cool!

Noosa Jazz Festival 2013

Can you believe the Noosa Jazz Fest has been around for 22 years this year? Located in Noosa Lions Park, the festival runs from today through to Sunday 1st of September.

Headline acts this year include Elixir and Katie Noonan, The Idea of North, and Monica Trapaga. So, if you're partial to a bit of jazz flute or a trumpet solo, make the pilgrimage north and have a sticky beak.

Inna Bliss | Bulimba

Inna Bliss is an excellent yoga studio, for yogis of all levels. They specialise in pregnancy, mum and bub , and kids' yoga. There are, of course, more advanced classes if you don't want kids downward doggin' in your face.
