Brisbane, you're certainly dishing up some fine events this week. We're right in the middle of Brisbane Festival, the new Gasworks Plaza is firing up with some great events, and it's Grand Final week! As usual, there is never a dull day in our sunny city. Here's our edit of this week's events:
Generate aims to activate everyday spaces with contemporary Queensland art and design. It is an interactive art exhibition that invites audiences to experience Newstead Riverpark. Twelve installations can be found across both the new Gasworks precinct and the Waterfront Newstead precinct, a you can check it out until the end of this month!

RAW is an International independent arts organisation, which hand-selects creatives to help showcase their material. The most recent showcase is tonight, with 40 local artists across photography, make up, music, fashion, hair and art contributing. It's sure to be an amazing night out. AFL Grand Final | Gasworks Plaza
Watch the AFL Grand Final on QLD's biggest screen, in the Gasometer at Gasworks Plaza, Newstead. Put your team colours on and pull up a beanbag to experience the thrills and spills of the 2013 AFL Grand Final. From 2pm the heritage-listed Gasometer will come alive with sporting history, giveaways and more!
