This weekend in Brisbane is set to be a cracker, with loads of live music, drinks to sample, movies to watch, and heavily discounted wares to get your paws on. Here's a hit list of what's on around Brisbane town.

Thursday 6th

Nebbiolo Wine Dinner | Fix Wine Room, Port Office Hotel
This very special wine dinner will be hosted by T'Gallant Wine's Kevin McCarthy in Port Office's private Fix Wine Room, and tickets include an amazing 3 course dinner and some seriously good wines. To book, phone 3003 4712.

MTNS | Black Bear Lodge
MTNS are taking over Black Bear with their lucid, ambient sound. These guys are newbies to the stage, but that doesn't stop them from putting on a great live show. This up and coming Brisbane band will be supported by Bilby and Govs. Doors open from 7pm.

Treasures 4 You | Record Sale
Love a vinyl treasure hunt? Then you'll dig the record sale on at Stone's Corner's Treasure 4 You until Saturday the 8th. The records are going for $5 each, or 10 for $30. They've got rock, jazz, country, classical, disco – you name it!

Tourism | The Zoo
Tourism are brining their magnetism back to The Zoo, along with Byron kids The Familiars, The Vanns, and Flavour Machine. Doors open from 7:30pm

Bro-Ski New Zealand Tap Takeover | Brewski
In celebration of Waitangi Day and all the great beers our rivals across the ditch are making, Brewski are going kiwi for the day, changing their name to Bro-ski, and featuring a selection of NZ brews, including the Killer Hop Zombie, and the much hyped Yeasty Boys and Pretty Things collaboration effort, 'Your Turn, Our Turn'.

Love Your Local Twilight Markets | Hawthorne Park
On every first Friday of the month, these charming markets are the perfect start to the weekend. With a licensed bar, great food to nosh, and a jazz/funk band (groovy man), what's not to like?

Champagne Appreciation Evening | Bungalow 4171
Hawthorne's Bungalow 4171, along with Grape Therapy, are hosting a very fizzy Champagne appreciation evening with sparkling varieties from Italy, Spain, and Australia, and, of course, Champagne from France. On from 6pm to 7:30pm, book yourself a spot now, or miss out!

Diva's Wardrobe | Brisbane Showgrounds
Shopping lovers, here's one for you. This Sunday the Brisbane RNA Showgrounds will be taken over by the wardrobes of 26 sartorially blessed Fashion lovers, and you are allowed to go home with their stuff! The closets of stylists, fashion agents, boutique owners and media personalities (AKA celebs) are all up rifling through. You'll find designer pieces, pre-loved gems, and end-of-season boutique wares.

Star Wars Trivia | Black Bear Lodge
