None of this 'but it's too cold to go out' nonsense! Get out and enjoy everything our fair weathered metropolis has to offer, as we round up what's on in Brisbane this weekend.
Scandinavian Film Festival | Palace Centro
Set to heat up the Australian winter this July, with some of the coolest films from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland, is the inaugural Scandinavian Film Festival. Brisbane, prepare to be delighted as this Scandi-film fest' kicks off at Palace Centro this weekend.
The festival runs until 20th July, giving you ample time to get your pals together and select a movie from an array of European classics including The Keeper of Lost Causes (Danish), I Am Yours (Norwegian), August Fools (Finnish) and The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared (Swedish), just to name a few.

Dinosaur Designer Sale | Wintergarden
Jewellery and homewares addicts, this one is for you! Dinosaur Designs are proud to announce that they will be holding their second Brisbane sale (lucky us!) this weekend in the Wintergarden, with all jewellery and homewares reduced by 80%! This is one Brisbane sale not to miss!

Total French Festival | Southbank Parklands
Happy Independence Day, France! No Bastille Day would be quite complete without Brisbane's annual Total French Festival in Southbank Parklands. If your idea of a perfect feast consists of fresh baguettes and creamy brie, croissants, and macarons, Brisbane's Total French Festival is the place for you. And to top it off, the festival goes all weekend. Yay!
Brisbane Yoga Fest | Old Museum
Get ready, loyal yogis, 'cause we've got a real treat for you. This weekend in Brisbane, the Old Museum is playing host to Brisbane Yoga Fest. This two-day festival is designed to educate and inspire yoga enthusiasts, with an array of outdoor stalls, as well as yoga classes running throughout the festival. Access to classes and the verandah stalls require a Yoga Fest ticket, available at the gate.
Grand Opening | La Macelleria
The newest member of Brisbane's inner city Gelato scene, La Macelleria is hosting an official opening party this weekend! The boys at La Macelleria will be serving small cups/ and cones of gelato and espresso for $2 (I'm not kidding) all day long! And, to top off the event, owners Matteo and Matteo will be creating champagne sorbet, and serving it up to patrons for FREE from 6 to 9pm!

New Farmer's Market Launch | The Gap State School
Next Sunday, before most of us have even dared to open our eyes, farmers from all over southeast Queensland will be enthusiastically awaiting your arrival at the launch of this new, totally authentic, not-for-profit Farmer's Market. The market will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month at The Gap State School, so put this one in your diaries, Brisbane!

Vintage/designer clothing lovers, you're in for a treat. The Diva's Wardobe is hosting its tenth event this Sunday, giving ticket-holders an exclusive opportunity to shop the wardrobes of some of Brisbane's top fashion-insiders, for one day only. And when we say Brisbane's top fashion-insiders, we're referring to the wardrobes of Lydia Woolcott, Mary Dickinson, Julie Sutherland, Carla Sakrewski, and plenty more. Tickets are $10, and available at the door. But beware fashionistas, you're on a 4 hour time limit! How fast can you shop?
A La Howzat Burger, Bastille Day Pop Up | Howzat Burger
They're our favourite burger joint for a reason. The burger wizards at Howzat are putting on two very special, very French, burgers for Bastille Day — the Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame — and they'll be available all week long.

Charity Trivia Night | Rumpus Room
Grab your friends, and get set for a night of charity trivia! Places are limited, so round up a team of 6-8 people and come on down to the Rumpus Room, in West End. Tickets are $40 per person, and include a cheese and antipasto platter for each table, with all proceeds going to the Heart Foundation. We couldn't think of anything we'd rather be doing on a Tuesday night. RSVP pronto!
Redlands Bluegrass Festival | Redland Bay
