Queens Plaza Shopping Centre in association with Mercedes Benz Brisbane is set to launch an super stylish new fashion documentary, ''Uncovering the Brisbane Look'', on the 27th of February. Featuring fashion heavyweights like Heidi Middleton from Sass & Bide, Juli Grbac, one of the Zimmermann sisters, Lydia Pearson from Easton Pearson among others, this documentary will explore and celebrate Brisbane's style and everything that makes this humble city so unique and different from our big city cousins. The doco will be screened online and in centre for the month of March. Also running is an Instagram competition during March to coincide with the documentary, where shoppers with the best Brisbane style on Instagram (hashtag #thebrisbanelook) will stand to win a $150 gift card!

Alementary 102: Hop Varieties | The Scratch
We've already let you in on the hops-mad events that are The Scratch's Alementary 101 classes (where beer meets education) before. But these beer education classes are happening on Saturday mornings monthly, and they are loads of fun, so we thought we'd tell you again. Hosted by a variety of beer geniuses, you will be well educated on anything beer related, ranging from the evolution of craft beer, down to the necessities of home brewing. An added bonus: you get to sample too! Round 2 of 'Alementary 102 ' gets underway this weekend with a class on hop varieties. Learn what hops are, how they look, feel, smell and taste. Then sample a selection of beers that focus on specific hop varieties!
