Is it just us, or were we only celebrating last weekend like, a second ago? With the weeks flying past at lightning speed, no doubt all we'll have to do is blink and it'll be the weekend again (not that we're complaining?) and you'll be looking for things to do in Brisbane. This weekend is set to be an absolute cracker, with new bar openings, fashion events, vintage markets, cookbook launches, and cherry blossom dinners. There's an event for everyone this weekend in Brisbane.

Here's what's on this weekend in Brisbane.

Friday 12th

Late Night Cold Press & Cronuts | Ltd Espresso Brew Bar
Brisbanites, lock this in for Friday and Saturday night! Ltd Espresso will reopen from 9pm 'til 2am, offering up benchmark cold press alongside Chocolate Komberry Cronuts (yum!) The best news we've heard all week, from one of Brisbane's best cafes.

When: 9pm 'til 2am, Friday and Saturday

Saturday 13th

Westfield Fashion Saturday | Westfield Chermside & Carindale
Cue the shopaholics! Westfield's Chermside and Carindale are hosting a massive day of exclusive one-day only offers and events to assist you with wardrobe updates. Brisbanites, this is going to be huge! And with over 100 of our favourite brands (Seed, Oroton, Scotch & Soda, Saba — the list goes on) all joining in with special offers and discounts, this is set to be one fashion event no one should miss! Westfield are also offering gifts with purchase when you drop more than $150, and there's a $1000 Westfield Gift Card to win. Read all about it here.

When: 9am-5pm

Woolly Mammoth's Garden Bar Opens! | Woolly Mammoth
Brisbane's bar scene is about to get hairy! Woolly Mammoth is the newest addition to Fortitude Valley's nightlife. Consisting of three distinct bar spaces areas — The Alehouse, Garden Bar and Mane Stage — The Woolly Mammoth is set to be a pumping new Brisbane bar, and this weekend you can get a sneak peek. This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, the Garden Bar, a lush astro-turfed playground for the slightly inebriated, complete with a giant game of Jenga, will be opening its doors to patrons in the lead up to the official launch of the whole venue on September 26th. Let the Mammoth weekends begin!

When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night

Jungle's Birthday Luau | Jungle
West End bar Jungle is turning one! To celebrate, they will be opening their doors from midday this Saturday for a fun filled day of all things jungle. From macramé classes, to hula dancers and DJs, as well as all the tiki cocktails your little heart could desire, it's going to be one hell of a celebration. Don't miss this one!

When: 12noon

Sunday 14th

Boudoir Bazaar Fashion Market | Hamilton Hotel
Born out of a love of buying designer and vintage clothing on a shoestring, Boudoir Bazaar was created to bring together Brisbane's fashion-savvy for the ultimate vintage shopping market. Held every three months on a Sunday, the vintage market is the place to go to snap up new, preloved and one of items at a fraction of the price. Who could say no to that?

When: 10am-2pm

Tuesday 16th

Viva Espana! | The Euro
We love CBD restaurant The Euro any day of the week, but on Tuesday nights this restaurant turns Spanish, with a stunning eight-course tapas share menu, complemented with Spanish wines to match. This not-to-be-missed foodie event is only $49 per person. Contact The Euro to book.

When: Tuesday nights

Wednesday 17th

Lyndey Milan 'Taste of Australia' cook book launch | MODA Restaurant
If you love to cook, and you love to eat top quality food (so, everyone?) then this is the event for you! Join Lyndey Milan at MODA Restaurant to celebrate the launch of her latest cookbook, 'Taste of Australia'. Guests will be treated to a three-course lunch of superb dishes including oysters with pico de gallo, quinoa and beetroot risotto, and brown sugar meringues with passionfruit curd. When: 12noon

Cherry Blossom Dinner | Sakè
Experience a cherry blossom inspired 8-course progressive dinner, created and presented by Executive Chef Shaun Presland. The menu will focus on spring produce — think light, healthy and clean food — and will be matched with sake, shochu, and tea. What's on the menu? Ocean trout and scallop tartar, lemon and kingfish sashimi, and miso zuke wagyu steak. There are limited tickets available for this exclusive event, so secure your spot before they're all gone.
