IMA's Subtropic Complex | James Street
Have you heard the news? James Street is going RESORT (via Palm Springs), and Institute of Modern Art is right there along with them. Their Subtropic Complex exhibition will see artworks by emerging Brisbane artists placed in James Street's best boutiques (including camargue, Maryon's, Gerard's Bistro, Gail Sorronda, Scrumptious Reads and more) exploring the idea of the 'staycation', and how the climate—both the prevailing weather conditions of a region, and as a way to describe the dominant attitudes of a place on the other—affects each artists' perception of self, place and politics. Subtropic Complex opens today and runs through to 23rd November.
When: 23rd October until 23rd November
Go-To Pop Up | Westfield Carindale (near Lorna Jane)

Go-To is the skin-care brainchild of beauty wizard Zoe Foster Blake, and we're big fans. Don't miss the rare opportunity to sample Go-To products in the wild!

This is a great activity for the kids, but we think a few grown ups might be keen to tag along?
