For beer drinkers that like yoga and yogis that like to drink beer, we've got something that is totally for you! As strange and as comforting as it does sound, beer yoga is a real thing, currently sweeping through Brisbane as fast as that time we were all obsessed with cupcakes...

So, enter beer yoga: a workout where laying down is considered exercise AND you can unwind over an ice-cold Stone & Wood. Score! The team at Fortitude Valley favourite The Flying Cock are encouraging you to indulge in a beer while bending for $20 a session. And yes, beer is included.

Experienced instructor Wes will be taking the reigns this month, with the class encouraging first-timers, long-timers, old-timers and everyone in between (including those who’d just like to sink a beer).

The Coop Bistro are also providing the goods after your mat sesh with healthy meals, cheat meals, and… even more beer!

Join a range of other beer lovers or bring along your group of friends to fine-tune your yoga skills. This dimly-lit space with exposed brick walls, candles, and a whole lotta Stone & Wood will make the perfect atmosphere to do what you do best.

(Whether that be drinking beer or doing yoga, we approve).
