Fromage The Cow
Fromage The Cow is Queensland's first licensed fromagerie, and we've hit the jackpot given it's situated right here in Brisbane.
Found on Milton's Park Road, Fromage The Cow features a restaurant devoted to cheese (this is not a drill, people), including a slick wine list matched to the plethora of cheeses on offer. There's also a walk-in cheese room housing an incredible selection of cheeses, of which you're also able to take away.
Upping the ante for 2019, Fromage The Cow is set to open for all-day breakfasts every Sunday from next Saturday 27 January.
Head chef Benjamin Pereira has created an intoxicating menu that puts your standard avo on toast to shame. The coconut rice pudding with calypso mango and beurre-noisette crumble is set to become a summer staple, but it's their pancetta waffle with gorgonzola ice cream and streaky maple bacon, and their signature three-cheese omelette of scamorza, gruyere and monterey jack cheddar that's piqued our interest. Coffees, juices and (much-needed) Bloody Marys will also be available, but if it's cheese that gets your motor going, we suggest you book a table asap—if just for that gorgonzola ice cream...
