Honour Ave Cellars
Always dreamed of having your own personal wine cellar, with walls lined with bottles of rare and small batch wines? Well, if that dream is still far from reality, we might just have the next best thing—a tiny new bar with just eight seats is hitting leafy Graceville, stocked to the rafters with wines not available anywhere else in the southern hemisphere.
Opening in late August, Honour Ave Cellars comes to us from rising hospitality star chef Chris Siktars, and will measure just 28 square metres. The perfect size for Graceville's cosy village atmosphere, the small bar will feature midnight blue walls and a timber bar running down the centre, with up to 2800 bottles lining the walls.
While you sit and sip those wines, and maybe even find a new favourite, you'll be able to nibble on bar snacks, cheese and charcuterie, with plans for the bar to make its own salami using meat from a local butcher. And of course, if you can't nab one of those eight seats, you can also just get a botte of wine to take home.
Stay tuned for more details once Honour Ave Cellars opens at the end of August.
