MICA Brasserie
There are just three things every human being needs to experience true happiness: a freshly baked, buttery pastry, the perfect cup of coffee, and a tonne of booze. The good news is, MICA Brasserie has all three. The newest addition to Newstead’s waterfront promenade, MICA Brasserie consists of a patisserie, bar and bistro, meaning you can come to them for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and post-dinner drinks, of course). For now, the patisserie has opened on its own, with the bar and bistro to follow suit once coronavirus has passed.
On the patisserie side, the treats on offer are ever-changing, with all of their breads, sweets and pastries amade on-site and from scratch, so anything you eat is guaranteed to be deliciously fresh. Flaky Danishes, buttery croissants and decadent flans and tarts are just the beginning, with a selection of breads to take home as well. Perfectly placed for pitstop on your morning walk along the river, you can grab a coffee to go with your order as well—hopefully you've got enough hands to hold it all.
