SK Steak and Oyster

The Verdict

Specialising in perfectly-cooked steaks, fresh seafood and smooth martinis, SK Steak and Oyster is the latest venue from Hellenika's Simon Gloftis. Channeling an airy, Palm Springs vibe much like The Calile hotel setting that it calls home, you'll walk into a airy, light filled space filled with a long row of circular, cushioned booths, curved, marble topped bar and a baby grand piano.

You may want to arrive for your dinner booking early so you can make inroads into the lengthy list of craft spirits, boutique wines, sophisticated champagnes and American-inspired cocktails, not to mention the specialty martinis. Once you're seated though, it's all about dry aged steaks, perfect to pair with a few things off the dedicated potato menu (yes, a potato menu).

 

We’d also be remiss if we didn’t mention the seafood—splash out on lobster, bug, caviar and freshly shucked oysters, or just order up an epic seafood platter with a little of everything.
