There’s no denying it, bubble tea is having a serious moment. And if you needed further proof of our obsession with this tasty tipple we’ve found it.
Say hello to Tokyo Tapioca Land, a theme park dedicated entirely to all things bubble tea.
While bubble tea (made up of tea, milk, sugar, and toppings like tapioca balls, boba and jelly) originated in Taiwan, it’s Japan that’s hosting this one-of-a-kind pop up in front of Tokyo’s Harajuku Station.
While all the details on the tasty pop up are yet to be revealed, we’re told it will feature food and drink stalls, a bunch of crazy photo booths, celebrity ambassadors, a tapioca-themed ride, and, obviously, buckets and buckets of bubble tea.
The theme park is open for a limited time—13 August to 16 September—so you’ll want to get in quick. Tickets will set you back 1200YEN (around $16 AUD) and will score you entry to the park and a welcome drink in a keep cup.
We’ll drink to that!
While you're there, here's a bunch of epic things to do in Toyko.
