At this point, we’ve kind of lost track of what postponed events we already have tickets to. We just keep buying new tickets to music festivals, concerts and epic events in the hopes that they will actually go ahead, and circling new dates in the calendar when they don’t.

Well, if you've been waiting until the very last minute to snap up tickets to new Brisbane music festival Day For It just in case, you'll want to get on that right away, because it's going ahead this weekend on Saturday 24 April in Hamilton—and tickets are almost sold out. Hope you’ve got a little dosh saved up, because it's being headlined by none other than musical legends Jungle Giants and Peking Duk.

Bringing all the vibes to Northshore, Day For It will be the first pumping music festival to take over the riverside space and we are predicting it will be a seriously good time. Live and loud indie tunes with water views and river breezes? We’ve already got our outfits hanging by the door.

The rest of the lineup features Hermitude, Tommy Trash, Choomba, Talena and Ned Kelly, and the festival will be hosted by none other than fashion duo Nikki Westcott and Lucy Jackson of We The Wild Ones, so you can expect plenty of onstage antics.

Day For It owner, Hugh Foster, said he is excited to be promoting events again, and honestly, who isn’t? “It’s been a tough run for the music industry. It’s nice to be able to provide a place  where artists can play their music and festival goers can dance outside and enjoy  what’s great about live music,” Foster said.

Tickets for Day For It are on sale here, but don't wait to get yours.
