As we wave goodbye to chillier nights (srsly guys we technically only have a few ‘winter’ days left—YAS) what better way to celebrate the (slightly) warmer weather than at an epic outdoor cinema. And even better, an event that’s held at one of our fave breweries and is…wait for it…free! That’s right kids, the good folk at Burleigh Brewing Co. are back with their outdoor cinema and they’re inviting all of you along.
This Thursday they’ll be screening the ridiculously funny Tropic Thunder—night out with the crew anybody? And to ensure they stay true to their mantra of supporting local artists, they’ve partnered with the team from the Gold Coast Film Festival and will screen short films from local film makers prior to the feature film. We’ll take our hats off to that epic initiative.
What would a movie screening in a brewery be without beer we hear you ask? Never fear, the gang at Burleigh Brewing have got you covered with a range of world class beers for purchase as well as popcorn because duh, it wouldn’t be a movie night otherwise.
Non-beer drinkers (Why? How?), don’t worry there will be a bunch of non-alcoholic beverages and wine on offer. There’s also a bunch of adorbs deck chairs for you snuggle in, on a first come, first served basis. (Read: Better get there slightly early).
And never one to let rain dampen their parade, Burleigh Brewing has even got an indoor cinema option just in case. Rain, hail or shine, they’ve got your back.
