A Glitter-Filled Circus Cabaret Has Hit The Gold Coast

There’s a new cabaret show coming to the Gold Coast, and there will be glitter. Scratch that, we mean ***glitter*** of the SuperZoom filter variety.

After last year’s sell-out season of the white-hot BLANC de BLANC show on the Gold Coast, the folks from Strut & Fret present Deluxe Deluxe. It’s a guaranteed 90 minutes of fabulousness that’s part-circus, part-cabaret and a whole lot debauchery. It’s gonna get you, how do we say, a little hot under the collar.

If BLANC de BLANC is anything to go by, the world premiere of Deluxe Deluxe at HOTA will tick all the ‘s’ adjectives: sassy and saucy, steamy and seductive. It’s the type of show that will make your mother blush one minute, then stand and whistle wildly the next. We’re crossing our fingers for more of Strut & Fret’s trademark titillating, scintillating circus tricks, cheeky strip-teases and night time naughtiness.

It’s all going down from 4–29 July at the HOTA precinct, otherwise known as the purveyors of arts and entertainment goodness. In true cabaret style, you can pimp out on a Deluxe Cabaret table for you and three mates—and you get a bottle of bubbles for your troubles. There’s seating at the high bar tables and general theatre seating because #choice.

If you need some sugar and spice to round out your night, you can score a cheeky bev at the Lakeside Bar, or a pre-/post-show dinner at the HOTA Café. For $50 per person, you get a two-course meal plus a cocktail, or check out their à la carte menu of share plates (sous vide sirloin, I’m looking at you). That’s your theatre-dinner-drinks conundrum solved, right there.

Don’t miss out. Fish out the fishnets, and book your tickets now.
