Just had my birthday lunch here and I have to say, the food and service were brilliant and definitely value for money. We're used to spending a bit more for this level of food but our expectations were well and truly exceeded.

The Verdict

If there are two things we love on the coast it's a stunning beach view and fresher than fresh seafood. It's in our blood, surely. Seaduction Restaurant + Bar, part of Peppers Soul, Surfers Paradise, nails both to a tee, transforming fresh and local ingredients into food that will have you salivating from the get-go. And, hey, the uninterrupted beach views aren’t half bad either—if there's a chance to admire the beauty of our home with some delicious eats, we'll take it.

Located on The Esplanade in iconic Surfer’s Paradise, this modern dining spot does breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and has been the recipient of the Australian Good Food Guide Chef’s Hat since 2013. So you know you're in safe hands.

We think you're going to be pretty damn excited to check out their seafood table, which is a literal table filled to the brim with fresh seafood. We're sold.

For $70 per person you'll score natural Australian oysters, Spanish anchovies served with house-baked whole Mooloolaba prawns, kingfish, Huon salmon and tuna sashimi, steamed mussels and clams, salt and pepper squid, local tempura prawn cutlets, grilled fresh fish of the day, and—of course—hand cut chips, garden salad and nori. And it's all prepared right at your table by the chef.

The venue is light and refreshing, letting the view be the real hero and the perfect background for that Insta upload, or to just watch the waves roll by with a perfectly crafted cocktail in hand—this is delicious, casual dining at it's best.
