The Big Chicken Festival has finally arrived, Juniperlooza is back in action and the Corner Hotel are celebrating their 20th birthday! So pop some antihistamine and get out there!

If you haven’t snagged tickets to Australia’s original gin festival, what are you doing?! Hosted by Riverland and Pilgrim Bar, soak up some sun at Juniperlooza this weekend. The Big Chicken Festival
Get your bibs ready because it’s finally here. The Food Truck Park’s inaugural Big Chicken Festival will be opening its doors this Friday and serving up some finger lickin’ goodness. The three-day festival will feature some of Melbourne’s cluckiest trucks with the biggest names in chicken flocking down to Preston for the event. Brown Brothers Spring Wine & Food Festival
This weekend Brown Brothers are putting on their 30th annual Spring Wine & Food Festival. In association with Wines of the King Valley’s La Dolce Vita Festival, Brown Brothers are bringing us a weekend of gourmet food, live music and entertainment, festival activities and, of course, lots of wine. There will be some featured events (catered lunches and dinners) but if you can’t make those then don’t stress because there are heaps of other festival goodies to get you through, including pop-up bars, stalls and restaurants. The Red Project
This weekend only The Red Hill Brewery are rolling out some red beers that they’ve brewed for this year's season (yeah, they’re actually red too!). Head down to Red Hill this weekend to try all ten brews and tuck into some slow southern style BBQ (think pulled pork, beef ribs, slaw, mac n cheese and chilli beans). Plus get decked out in red for a chance to win spot prizes! No bookings needed.
Melbourne Night Noodle Market
The Night Noodle Market is in full swing and if you haven’t been down yet you seriously need to! Open every night, the market is always abuzz with the sights, sounds and smells of a huge outdoor Asian hawker market. The market features over 30 food stalls, including some returning favourites like Mr. Miyagi, Sake, Wonderbao and Gelato Messina. Christmas shoppers rejoice! This weekend The Design Anarchy are bringing together some of the most talented designers, artists, design retailers and makers in Melbourne for a three-day event. With a strong focus on ethically made and local brands, The Design Anarchy will offer a diverse range of products and stalls as well as creative workshops, live music, an animal farm for kids and food and beverages. Styling Workshop With Emma Blomfield
United Interiors are putting on an awesome live styling demo this Thursday with special guest Emma Blomfield! The workshop runs from 6pm to 8pm with Emma walking you through interior home styling and decorating principles and helping you to create your own vision board, designed to pinpoint your decorating style and transform a room in your home. Tickets are $99 and include a welcome drink and canapés as well as a $50 in-store voucher to use in the United Interiors showroom on the day!
Glamorama Fridays Presents Dan Shake (UK)
The first ever non-Detroit artist to be signed to Moodymann’s prestigious label Mahogani Music, London-based Dan Shake is making his way down under this Friday. Dan has been making his mark on dance floors all over Europe and will be bringing his dense groove and crowd working expertise to Glamorama. Entry is just $10 with doors opening at 9pm. Conscious Dating Co.
If you've developed a Tinder intolerance (and I don't blame you) then why not try something a bit different. The Conscious Dating Co. don't host your typical speed dating event and this Friday they're bringing their refreshingly unorthodox methods to Melbourne. Corner Hotel 20th Birthday Party
It’s the Corner Hotel’s birthday and they are going to celebrate in style! They’re putting on a Sunday sesh like no other with a huge lineup of artists, including Billy Davis, Confidence Man, Jaala (solo) jade imagine, Jarrow and heaps more. There will be live music in the band room, acoustic acts in the front bar and DJs will be rocking the newly renovated upstairs bar. Rosé and Cheese Matching
Milk the Cow are back with another one of their stellar cheese & wine event! This time around they’re all about Rosé with a selection of six wines from around the world, matched with some stunning (and surprising!) cheeses from Milk the Cow. This Sunday the team from Fitzroy Markets are bringing their vintage vibes to Barkly Square. From 10am to 3pm, shoppers are invited to fossick for handmade, pre-loved, vintage and recycled clothing, craft, artwork, jewellery, second-hand books, records, household goods and plants, with more than 30 stalls (including Benna Co, Bye Bye Belle and Fash Forward) lining Barkly’s The Laneway.
