Melbourne’s showing up this Easter long weekend with a bunch of things to do for those scoring the four-day break. Laugh all weekend long with the International Comedy Festival or pull up to the Souled Out Festival for an R&B fix. Either way, we’ve sorted out how you can make the most of the weekend.

Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Melbourne:

Melbourne International Comedy Festival

You’ve got over 600 shows headlined by comedians including the likes of Aaron Chen, Julian O’Shea, Catherine Bohart, and more. Whether you prefer a fast-paced show filled with wit and sarcasm, or a relaxed gig with immersive storytelling, MICF has it all. Flick through the program here.

Feast On Maker & Monger’s Easter Menu

We know (and love) Maker & Monger for their exquisite spread of dairy produce and wines, but this long weekend, they’ve cooked up something extra special for Easter— a limited slow-cooked saltbush lamb roll. The delightful lamb comes straight from neighbouring butchery, G.McBean Family Butcher, then is coated with salted sheep’s milk ricotta from Sardinia and Dreaming Goat Dairy’s labne before its thrown into a classic sourdough roll from Baker Bleu.

And of course, Easter isn’t Easter without a hot cross bun in hand, and Maker & Monger has those too—slathered with cultured butter.

When: From 7:30am to 4pm, Saturday 30 March
