If you love all things Melbourne and all things alcohol you’re in luck this week, with Workshop’s distillery panel discussion featuring four of Melbourne’s most qualified in the business. Meet the Distillers will give you all the history, expertise and how-to’s of local spirits, with a focus on whiskey, gin, and moonshine. Beer Pong And Bao At Supernormal
Watch one of the city’s best restaurants transform into a drunken arena with live music, cool beers, and ping-pong all night long. Supernormal is hosting a table-tennis tournament alongside super-chef May Chow this Wednesday, with guest appearances from Australia’s top ping-pong players to show you what’s what. If this didn’t already sound amazing enough, Cathay Pacific are also giving away two flights to Hong Kong in celebration of the pong-party. Food Truck Fiesta
Head down to Highett this weekend with our fave food trucks driving in for you to feast with Melbourne’s best. Bring your dog, bring your kids, and bring your picnic rug: there’s going to be a lot going on. On the list of attendees is Mr Burger, Nuoc Mama, White Guy Cooks Thai, Toasta, and more. There’ll also be rides, an open bar and live local music talent, all for a gold coin entry donation. What’s more, all entry proceeds will be raising money for local community programs.
