Let one of Melbourne’s most horrifying institutions petrify you this week with a Halloween festival for all ages. With a food truck village, haunted houses, costume contests, and trick or treat for all ages, Spooktober Halloween Festival at St Kilda Town Hall is the best way to celebrate the scariest holiday of the year. Stranger Things Halloween
If a festival isn’t really your thing, don’t worry—Good Things has you covered. With a dual celebration of both the fearsome festivities of Halloween and Netflix series Stranger Things, all the ghouls, ghosts, goblins, and freaks of the night will be heading down to get their boogie on to some of Jonathan Byers’ favourite tracks. After-Party for a Prince
With the Melbourne Cup on your screens and drinks in your hands, you’re sure to want to party this racing season. The Deck at Circa is hosting one of the hottest after-parties around town, with VIP guests, local DJs and enough finger food to feed a horse. With parties on Derby, Cup and Oakes Days, there’s still more than enough time to enjoy a bit of a bet, readjust your fascinators and come down to St Kilda to celebrate this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival.
