1. Down A Boilermaker For A Perfect Irish Beer Experience
For the uninitiated, a boilermaker is a shot of whisky followed by a beer chaser—Irish drinking at its finest. Head over to Stomping Ground for a limited-edition Coffee Stout and small batch Irish whisky pairing that’s sure to get you craic.
2. Party Hard All-Week At The Last Jar
Not satisfied with just one day of Irish revelling? The Last Jar are providing five full days of entertainment. Build up to the big day with music sessions on the 15th & 16th then let loose for the main event. There’ll be breakfast from 8am, music from midday and rustic Irish pub fare all day—plus Guinness, Kilkenny and Magners on tap. Have yourself a recovery brekky on the 18th and enjoy the weekend at their Prawn Festival.
3. Taste Test The World’s Most Exclusive Whiskey
Class it up on St Patty’s Day eve with Bar 1806. Grab tickets online for $60 and enjoy a cocktail on arrival, four Teeling Whiskies, sharing boards and cheeses. Then as the big day rolls round head over to Loch and Key from 5pm-5am for more Teeling Whiskey, boilermakers and Irish dancing.
4. Have A Classic St Patty’s Day At An Irish Pub
From 8-11am start the day right with a full Irish breakfast and a pint of Guinness for just $25 at PJ O’Brien’s. The festivities last all day with face painting from 10am, Irish dancers showcasing their skills at 10.30am and 2.30pm and Pipers at 1pm and 4pm, so stick around and drink up.
5. Get Your Irish Fix In The CBD
Sneak away from the office and wear your best green attire to the Celtic Club. Hyde Irish Whiskey are offering tastings from 2-3pm and a bottle of Bailey’s is the prize for best dressed.

Not sure you’re up to an all-day and night rager? Stop in at The Posty or The Bridge Hotel and enjoy a few drinks specials in happy hour.
